ThunderFilter 0.2
ThunderFilter versions 0.2 and up are dually licensed under the Mozilla Public License and the GNU General Public License.
ThunderFilter uses external applications to do conversions to HTML. So you must have installed these applications on /usr/bin/
- soffice2html-0.76 by Steve Slaven (use xsltproc)
- UnRTF By Dave Davey and Marcos Serrou do Amaral (Original Author: Zach T. Smith) -
- wvHtml by Dom Lachowicz/Caolan McNamara (original author)
ThunderFilter requires JSLib in order to run. Find its installation page at here.
In Thunderbird 0.7+, you absolutely positively MUST install JSLib BEFORE you install ThunderFilter! Otherwise, the program won't appear to start once you install ThunderFilter. If you get yourself stuck like this, here's how to recover:
- Ensure the program isn't running at all (check your process list, however your host OS makes you do that, to be sure)
- Run the program in Safe Mode (there's a shortcut in Windows, or
use the
--safe-modeoption on the command line) - Either install JSLib now, or uninstall ThunderFilter
- Exit the program and restart it normally
- XPI Install Link
- XPI Download Link (Shift-click, or Right-click | Save As... to save)
